PlayStation Showcase 2023!
Here are the most interesting games we saw at yesterday’s event! Sony showed a few games for the PS5 and PSVR 2. Some of the more exciting reveals were Alan Wake, Spider-Man 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. It is worth noting that Spider-Man received a very long gameplay, which greatly surprised us!
Spider-Man 2
We saw Kraven the Hunter, Peter Parker (a bit altered by Symbiote), and Miles Morales! The nearly ten-minute gameplay showed us what to expect from the sequel and left us with even more questions about the story. The release date has yet to be announced, but we know we can expect a release in the fall of 2023.
Alan Wake 2
The game will be released on October 17. The trailer showed Alan Wake trapped in a nightmare and a new protagonist, FBI Agent Saga Anderson. What can we expect? The story begins in Bright Falls and we can play Alan and Saga. She attempts to uncover the horrors written by Alan, and Alan, who has been considered missing for 13 years, tries to break out of the nightmare.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming on October 12. We will be able to delve into the story of Basim and visit the streets of 9th-century Baghdad. The game will focus more on parkour and stealth and will have a smaller map.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
A mysterious trailer has shown us MGSD: Snake Eater. The remake appears to remain faithful to the original, of course, it will be “refreshed” in places. It was revealed in a brief teaser trailer in which we see a familiar jungle landscape and eventually – Snake.
Phantom Blade Zero
Third-person action RPG with a world cloaked in darkness and perpetual rain. It sets the stage for an immersive samurai experience, focusing on the art of combat and fluid movement through treacherous landscapes. The game has not received a release date.
Destiny 2: The Final Shape
Something we didn’t expect after Bungie announced another game Marathon but it looks like they are preparing something really big for players. The trailer doesn’t tell us much and shows very little about the new expansion. The big surprise is the return of a character beloved by many fans, Cayde-6 , but how and why it happened…. Well for those answers we will have to wait until August 22. Hopefully!
